Liebe Freunde,
Frank Natale ist dabei, eine weitreichende Entscheidung umzusetzen,
die er vor kurzem getroffen hat.
Es geht ihm lange gesundheitlich nicht gut, seine Nieren arbeiten nicht mehr: er braucht dreimal pro Woche die Dialyse, und sein Gesundheitszustand war oft instabil und kritisch. Der nächste Schritt wäre eine Nieren- und Lebertransplantation gewesen. Frank hat sich lange und intensiv mit dieser schwierigen Entscheidung auseinandergesetzt.
Vor kurzem hat er sich entschieden, diesen Schritt nicht zu gehen und stattdessen heute, am 14. Juni 2002, die Dialyse zu beenden - im Anschluß daran wird er voraussichtlich binnen weniger Tage seinen Körper verlassen und sterben. Ein voraussichtlicher Termin hierfür ist die Zeit um den 21. Juni 2002, dem Festival of Light, zu seinem 61 Geburtstag...
Soweit als möglich ist Frank in Frieden mit dieser Entscheidung. Er sagt, daß seine Angst vor diesem Schritt immer kleiner wird und nimmt dieses Schicksal in der ihm eigenen Weise an. Seine größte Sorge war immer, daß es noch so viele Ideen und Projekte gibt, die er erledigen wollte - jetzt schließt er Frieden damit, daß seine Aufgabe auf dieser Welt offenbar vollendet ist.
Für alle, die Frank als Lehrer, Freund und Begleiter kennen und schätzen, ist dieser Schritt schmerzlich und tragisch. Es fällt schwer, einen Mann wie ihn so früh gehen zu sehen. Zugleich sind wir es ihm schuldig, diese mutige Entscheidung zu respektieren.
Jeder, für den dies stimmt, ist eingeladen, ihn auf dieser Reise durch seine Anteilnahme und Gebete zu unterstützen, damit dieser wichtige Übergang in eine andere Dimension für ihn möglichst gut gelingt....
Als Freund und Partner, der seit 1986 über viele Jahre eng mit Frank Natale zusammengearbeitet hat, 1987 mit ihm das deutsche Natale Institut (TNI) gegründet und bis 1997 geleitet hat, widme ich ihm diese Website.
Möge sie dazu beitragen, daß sein außergewöhnlicher Spirit lebendig bleibt....

Frank Natale is about to execute an important decision, he made a short while ago.
He has physically not been well for a long time, his livers don’t work anymore. Three times a week he needs to have a dialysis done and the condition of his health often was critical. The next step would have been a liver- and kidney transplantion. Frank has intensivly been evaluting this option.
Recently he made the choice to not go this path and rather stop the dialysis as of today, june 14th 2002 - that means that he will most probably leave his body and die within a few days. A possible frame of time for that is around june 21st 2002, the festival of light, his 61st birthday.
He is in peace with this decision as much as possible given the circumstances. One of his major concerns always has been, that there was so many ideas and projects he wanted to accomplish - now he’s making peace with the fact that his task on this planet obviously is completed.
For all of those, who know and value him als teacher, friend and guide, this choice is painful and tragic. It’s hard to take to let a man like him leave that early.
At the same time we owe him the repect to honour this brave step.
Everyone, who feels inclined to do so, is welcome to support him on his great journey through his compassion and prayers, so that this important transition is most sucessfully happening for him....
As friend and partner, who has work closely with Frank Natale ever since 1986 for many years, co-founded the german TNI Institute in 1987 and was in charge of it till 1997, I dedidate this website to him.
May it contribute so that his exceptional spirit is staying alive ...

Frank Natale sta per eseguire un’importante decisione che ha preso poco tempo fa.
E’ da molto tempo che lui non sta bene, i suoi reni non funzionano più. Deve sottoporsi a dialisi tre volte alla settimana e le sue condizioni di salute sono spesso critiche. Il passo successivo sarebbe stato di avere un trapianto di fegato e reni. Frank ha preso intensamente in esame questa opzione.
Recentemente ha fatto la scelta di non seguire questa via, ma di smettere la dialisi a partire da oggi, 14 giugno 2002 – ciò significa che lascerà il corpo e morirà probabilmente fra pochi giorni. Una possibile data per questo è intorno al 21 giugno 2002, il festival della luce, il suo 61° compleanno.
Lui è in pace con questa decisione, quanto più possibile date le circostanze. Una delle sue più grandi preoccupazioni è sempre stata che c’erano così tante idee e progetti che voleva portare a termine – ora lui sta facendo pace col fatto che il suo compito su questo pianeta è ovviamente completato.
Per tutti coloro che lo conoscono e lo apprezzano come insegnante, amico e guida, questa scelta è dolorosa e tragica. E’ dura accettare di lasciar andare un uomo come lui così presto.
Allo stesso tempo gli dobbiamo il rispetto di onorare questo passo coraggioso.
Tutti coloro che si sentono inclini a farlo, sono benvenuti a supportarlo nel suo grande viaggio attraverso la compassione e le preghiere, così che questa importante transizione accada per lui col massimo successo…
